Maja Lee Langvaad (DK)

Maja Lee Langvad was born in 1980 in Seoul and raised in Denmark. She graduated from the Authors School in 2003 and debuted in 2006 with the conceptual text collection Find Holger Danske. From 2004-2010 she was co-editor of the literature magazine Banana Split. She has translated Spørgeskemaer by Max Frisch. For a number of years she acted as a critical voice in the adoption debate in Denmark. Maja Lee Langvad has received several grants and awards. The Swedish Arts Foundation's three-year working grant, Svend Dahlsgaard's Mindelegat and Bodil and Jørgen Munch-Christensens Kulturlegat. Maja Lee Langvad has worked with numerous artists in video art, performance, theater, choreography, film, music and sound art.
