Catherine Blaavinge Bjørnevog is a Norwegian artist and poet. In her poetry she combines several languages, dialects and genres. Her poetic novel Um sakne springe blome, published in 2016, received much attention and good critiques due to its dark narrative told in a created language, based on old Norse and different Norwegian dialects. Blaavinge Bjørnevog attended five years of art school and graduated from Skrivekunstakademiet in 2015. She currently lives in Trondheim.
